Do you have solid initial professional experience in the CloudOps field, and are Kubernetes, Terraform and pipelines part of your day-to-day work? Do you want to take on responsibility and demonstrate your expertise? And work alongside colleagues who have been building and operating cloud infrastructure for years?

Then become our new Cloud Engineer (all genders)! This full-time role is available immediately and can be worked remotely from anywhere in Germany.

•  You have provided operational support for cloud infrastructure in production environments, not just in test environments.
• You have already written infrastructure as code and want to improve your skills in this area.
• You have deployed workloads on Kubernetes and can independently understand what is happening within the cluster.
• You have worked with existing CI/CD pipelines and extended them.
• You’d rather automate a task than do it manually a second time.
• You work through problems independently and, naturally, seek a second opinion from the team if you’re unsure about a solution or get stuck.
• You enjoy getting to grips with new technologies, even if they’re unrelated to your current role or lie outside your comfort zone.
• You’re a good communicator, a team player and enjoy interacting with customers.
• You have a very good command of English (at least C1) and, ideally, a basic knowledge of German.
• You’re familiar with the software engineering lifecycle and enjoy automating solutions to make life easier for developers and agents on your platform.

Our tech stack

• We mainly use Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Our current cloud providers are Azure, GCP and Telekom Public Cloud.
• For our CI pipelines, we use GitLab CI, GitHub Actions and, occasionally, Azure DevOps Pipelines, amongst others.
• Our workloads run primarily on Kubernetes, and the manifests are packaged and deployed using Helm.
• Our preferred CD tools are Argo CD and FluxCD.

Nice-to-have: You have experience with StackIT and/or Telekom Public Cloud.
